Couple getaway done right

The room was cozy and had a fancy Nespresso machine! The staff was super friendly, and dinner was divine!

The hotel had an excellent location and the food was incredible, but the service felt a bit rushed. The staff were wonderfully friendly, and I loved the nice decor. However, the bathroom needed a little cleaning attention, which was unexpected given the overall quality of the place.

The location offers an iconic and accessible spot for exploring nearby attractions on foot. The eco-friendly practices stand out, like the biodegradable shower caps and glass water containers instead of plastic.

Noise levels were an issue, as disturbance from external sources disrupted sleep. The absence of air conditioning in rooms left them uncomfortably warm, especially during hotter nights. I also noticed the bathroom needed maintenance, with signs of mold that shouldn't be overlooked. The carpets didn't show great signs of care and felt worn in areas, which is a touch below expectations for a hotel.

Impeccable cleanliness in the room

My recent stay at Zuni Restaurant & Boutique was excellent. The room I occupied was a Deluxe Double Room, spacious and impeccably clean, providing a comfortable environment for work. The restaurant exceeded my expectations with beautifully presented dishes and attentive staff. I particularly appreciated the quality of service at the bar where the mixologists crafted superb cocktails.

Parking access was somewhat confusing.

The Zuni Restaurant & Boutique Hotel decor is modern yet warm, with inviting spaces that are easy to navigate for seniors. The dining and lounge areas feel cozy and are perfect for relaxation after a day of exploring Kilkenny.

Improve mattress and pillow quality for better comfort.

Zuni offered a lovely experience with a good restaurant. I savored the smoked trout for breakfast both days! The only downside was that the late-night parking access felt a bit confusing. A lovely stay in Kilkenny.
